Description

An impressive range of improvements make the new HELIX DSP PRO MK2, (MK2), a great tool to bring a sound system to ultimate sound quality.

The MK2 allows to handle all signals with the doubled sampling rate of 96kHz.  Thus the audio bandwidth is no longer limited to usual values like 22kHz but allows an extended frequency response to more than 40kHz.  Doubling the sampling rate requires significantly higher DSP power as the number of possible arithmetic operations is halved.

The MK2 achieves high-grade specifications such as 10 to 44,000Hz frequency response, 0.0005% or less distortion, 116dB or more S/N ratio, and 8V output voltage.  It is also equipped with 8 x RCA/Cinch, 8 x High-level, 1 x Optical SPDIF, 1 x Coaxial SPDIF in input, and 10 x RCA/Cinch in output.

* The MK2 uses high-class two premium D/A converters: AK4456 and one A/D converter: AK5558 of the latest generation with a native resolution of 32-bit instead of the common 24-bit.
